Oleeo would like to express huge congratulations to our client, Kesh Ladwa, Recruitment Manager at Warwickshire Police & West Mercia Police.
On 3 May 2017, he was awarded the accolade of In-House Recruitment Manager of the Year at the Recruiter Awards 2017. Oleeo & Warwickshire Police & West Mercia Police were also finalists in the technology innovation category.
Kesh was recognized by the industry magazine for having “significantly improved the candidate experience and delivered a quicker and effective recruitment service for the business” - achievements which the forces have attributed to the implementation of the Oleeo for Police Recruiting platform.
The two forces were spending £3m agency spend in 2015 and had low candidate experience, now with WCN as one of the improvements implemented, it has reduced agency spend to £1m 2016.
The benefits are starting to be felt across the organization, with reductions in several areas including:
· overall costs to recruit
· higher caliber of applicants
· reduction in time to interviews
· minimized administration duties
· better consistency of approach to hiring.
In addition, the time taken for new hires has been reduced in most cases from the previous timescales of up to 6 months, to an average of 2-3 months. By maintaining ownership and control of the recruitment processes themselves, the force can build a more manageable and accessible talent pool, which gives a critical competitive edge in the continuous search for new talent for our organization.
